GOD SAVE THE PHILLIPINES

The winds howled across the tiny fishing village of San Isidro. Dark clouds blanketed the skies, and the angry sea swallowed the shores. It was the strongest storm the people had ever seen — stronger than anyone could remember. Families huddled together in shivering prayer. Lola Rosa, the village elder, clutched her rosary, whispering, "Panginoon, iligtas Mo po kami." Around her, young children cried, and men stood helpless, watching their humble homes crumble. But in the darkest hour, when it seemed all hope was lost, a strange calm washed over the village. The rain softened. The winds slowed. Above the storm clouds, a single ray of sunlight pierced through, bathing San Isidro in golden light. Miraculously, the village church — the oldest building made of stone and love — still stood firm. Its small bell rang with the wind, a sound so pure it silenced the cries. Everyone gathered around the church, falling to their knees, tears streaming down their faces. They knew — it was not by their strength, but by God’s mercy that they were saved. From that day on, the people of San Isidro lived with stronger faith, rebuilding their village hand in hand, always remembering the day God saved the Philippines.
